My husband, Chris, and I were fortunate enough to book with MB Events almost two years out from our wedding date of July 19, 2025. We love telling everyone that working with Marissa was the 2nd best decision we made (other than marrying each other, of course!!)
Throughout the inevitable chaos of wedding planning, Marissa was our rock. She kept us on track with timelines and payments, managed communication with nearly 10 vendors at once, and helped bring our entire wedding vision to life. She truly has “the eye” — something Chris and I lack — making her guidance that much more invaluable when crafting our mood board and creating the overall design for wedding day.

I could not have asked for a smoother wedding day. When we first decided to have our ceremony and reception at two separate locations, and eventually realized we would be working with around ten different vendors, I didn’t fully understand how essential an experienced day-of coordinator would be until late in the planning process. Looking back, I’m so grateful I had the foresight to book with MB Events.
I worked with Caroline, and she was truly my rock on our wedding day. She communicated clearly and consistently and brought such a calm, genuine presence that immediately put me at ease. We had a few last-minute changes with some guests who were unable to attend while another one was added at the last minute. Caroline handled everything by coordinated directly with the venue to remove chairs and add name cards without needing any prompting from me.
I was extremely stressed leading up to the wedding, but in hindsight, I really didn’t need to be. Caroline had everything completely under control! We met four times before the wedding: an initial Zoom meeting, another Zoom call about three months out to review the timeline and vendors, a venue walkthrough, and the rehearsal. She was incredibly detail-oriented and always thoughtful in her approach. It was so helpful to have a professional to bounce ideas off of, and she often raised considerations I hadn’t even thought of. I truly felt like she was my safety net throughout the process.
Caroline planned everything down to the minute while remaining flexible and when changes came up. I never once felt rushed, and I appreciated how down-to-earth and approachable she was. Our wedding day came together so well, and I genuinely believe MB Events was the cornerstone that made it all happen.

Working with Marissa, Doug & the MBE team was truly the best investment we could have made for our wedding day! We booked MBE back in January 2024 for our June 2025 wedding for partial planning & day-of coordination.
Throughout the planning process, Marissa was my ROCK, making sure we stayed on track with booking vendors, creating a mood board for our day, budgeting, sending out save the dates and invitations, and taking all the necessary steps for a perfect day. Alyssa, MBE’s graphic designer, created our save the dates and invitations and was so amazing to work with, too!
All our prep work led to the most perfect and seamless wedding day. The MBE team took care of EVERYTHING, flawlessly bringing our vision to life in just a couple hours. Thanks to the MBE team, everything was absolutely perfect and we were able to have stress-free morning getting ready with the bridal party.
Marissa is pure MAGIC and made me feel so at peace throughout the whole process up until the very end of our wedding day. We’ve heard from so many couples that they were barely able to enjoy their wedding day because of all the stress / coordination, but thanks to MBE I can confidently say we had the best night of our lives at our wedding. MB events exceeded all my expectations and I would 110% use their services again. From the beginning the coordinators had open communication and responsiveness with any needs.
Jamie was assigned to our wedding and I am so grateful. She was amazing and pulled everything together on the day of. She started working with us more closely ~3 months out and was available at any time for multiple meetings, phone calls, emails and texts. She was very organized and helped me create a beautiful vision for my wedding day.
When there was a Nor'Easter storm on the day of, she helped recreate our vision in a completely different setting than we had planned for and made sure the other vendors understood the changes. She made our wedding day so special and is an amazing person. We are sad we won't get to work with her again but would definitely recommend her services.

I honestly do not know where to start. We hired Marissa and her wonderful team about nine months out from our September 2024 wedding at the Fairmont Copley. She immediately got the ball rolling with connecting me with the rest of the (amazing) vendors I needed to book and introducing me to Aisle Planner-which I have to say is a godsend resource for all brides and planners.
She kept me on track with payments, with responding to emails and routinely checked in with me to see how things were going. She was always just a text away. She coordinated with all of my vendors and produced a beautiful timeline for our big day. She stuck up for me and helped me find answers/alternative solutions if anything was unclear or needed to be addressed.
Marissa is a true professional and missed literally nothing when it came to my large and complex wedding (250 guests). I cannot imagine what the day would have been like without her and her phenomenal team. I interviewed with about 10 different planners over three weeks before I went with my gut with MB Events and I am so glad we did. This is definitely someone you can trust with one of the most special days you'll ever have! I could not recommend Marissa and her team enough if you are planning a wedding in New England.

Marissa & the MB Event team truly made our wedding weekend complete. From the moment we started working together Marissa & team were so organized & helped manage all of our vendors & develop a comprehensive timeline for the weekend. MBE was always checking in, making sure we were on track & we’re always available if I needed to reach them. They organized a month prior a walkthrough of the ceremony & reception space & I am so happy they did. There were a lot of components I didn’t account for but they helped point them out & provide suggestions & solutions for them.
Planning a wedding is so much work but MBE helped ease so much stress! The day of the wedding I was amazed with how well they kept everything running smoothly, from dealing with the rainy weather & changing photo plans last minute, to managing our larger bridal party, I truly could have not asked for a better team to make the night complete. I am very thankful we had them apart of our wedding weekend!!

My husband and I chose a venue where every aspect of our wedding needed to be coordinated with third-party vendors (string quartet, DJ, catering (incl. table, chairs, linens), set up, breakdown, etc). When we realized how much we underestimated the time and coordination needed to plan such an important event, we knew we needed help. Enter: MB Events. From the start, Marissa kept my husband and I organized throughout the entire wedding planning process, ensuring our vision for the day came to fruition, and truly made our wedding day better than we had ever expected.

We planned an outdoor wedding, and inevitably it was supposed to pour (thunder, lightning, flood, tornado warnings), and Marissa and her team worked from sunup to sundown to ensure that our day was exactly as we had imagined, rain or shine. Marissa was an advocate for my husband and I when difficult day-of -decisions needed to be made in relation to the rain, which allowed us to just “focus and take in the moment” which we are extremely grateful for. With some last minute timeline adjustments by Marissa, we were able to have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams. This would not have happened without the expertise and dedication of Marissa and her team.

Multiple times throughout the wedding planning process I told my husband that Marissa seems to be the only vendor we chose that is actually “on our side.” We struggled with the organization and responses of other vendors, especially as the wedding season was in full swing, but Marissa never missed a moment. She was professional, quick to respond, and extremely reliable. I know that there are many options when choosing a wedding planner, but I can honestly say, I believe Marissa and her team to be the best there is. Personally, the only downside I’ve found about working with Marissa has been the end of it all… because it feels kind of like I don’t have my best friend around anymore!

Marissa, Jamie and Doug were amazing!! Marissa helped with planning and finalizing a timeline over several months! And then the wedding was multiple days and multiple ceremonies and the team helped coordinate decor, bringing clothing and decorations from one place to another, and overall problem solving lots of last minute issues. They were like family and so easy to work with. It was reassuring having MB events with us throughout the week!
